This page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) --James Kevin McMahon (talk) 22:35, 26 January 2020 (UTC)
No need to delete a perfectly good article, freshly created, bears no resemblance to the one deleted previously. It meets all of Wikipedia's requirements for notability with 2 references from reputable sources having journalist articles written around her. I shall be Women in Red to ensure there is no discrimination because she is female and of mixed ethnicity.James Kevin McMahon (talk) 22:35, 26 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@James Kevin McMahon, what do you mean by discrimination because she is female and of mixed ethnicity ? I nominated this page for speedy deletion because it appears as though it has been deleted via an AFD before & as I’m not a sysop it’s impossible for me to view the old article & know if or not it is significantly different from this current one. Furthermore say you’re sorry for that racist allegation nonsense you were spewing against me earlier & whilst we are at it, it may interest you to know that I’m a Nigerian female.Celestina007 (talk) 04:42, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
What is very clear to me is that you and all the other people making these decisions are unaware of what dictates notability in Wikipedia and are just using your own opinions. Notability dictates that at least one journalistic article from a reputable source has been written about the person, not just a passing mention. It does not mention numbers of films or TV series. Patricia Allison has been enjoyed by over 40 million viewers on a regular basis, and you want to delete her article without having even compared it to the one that was deleted.James Kevin McMahon (talk) 10:39, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@James Kevin McMahon: Please calm down and read the wording of the deletion template. It says that the article "may" meet the criterion G4 for speedy deletion. Celestina007 cannot see the earlier deleted article, nor can I, nor can you. But an article on this person has previously been deleted, and we need to wait for a passing admin to check whether the new article is substantially the same as the old one, or is new. You assert that the article is new, in which case the next admin to look at it will compare the two, agree with you, and remove the tag. Enough said. No need to go canvassing any WikiProject and accusing people of bias. And how do you know that your article "bears no resemblance to the one deleted previously"? As far as I can see you are not an admin. Are you such a fan of Allison that you can remember just what the previous article looked like? Very strange: please explain. (Your statement is not the same as saying "I did not write the previous article so it is highly unlikely that the new article is "substantially the same".") PamD11:44, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
PamD, thank you for having the patience to explain things to James Kevin McMahon. To say he lacks insight of the intricacies of this encyclopedia & still tries to teach established editors is to put it mildly. It is very much upsetting.Celestina007 (talk) 13:14, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
How do I apply to be an admin? Clearly my skills would be a great asset to Wikipedia. There is nothing wrong with argument,
Argument is the foundation of education. James Kevin McMahon (talk) 16:20, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Cellestina007, yes I did see PamD's message and did have read through all the adminship criteria, etc. and maybe will consider joining soon. However, I do have a lot on at the moment and will not be able to make the commitment necessary at this present time. I will definitely endeavor to pursue this action in the near future as I do enjoy contributing, also would like to join in the Wikipedia community to interact more and improve my game. Thank you for your kind concern. And PamD too. James Kevin McMahon (talk) 08:14, 30 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
