- We typically use recent secondary sources rather than primary sources. This Arora, N. K. (2000). "Patient preferences for medical decision making:Who really wants to participate?". Medical Care. 38: 335–341. doi:10.1097/00005650-200003000-00010.
{{cite journal}}: Unknown parameter|coauthors=ignored (|author=suggested) (help) for example is a primary source when more recent secondary sources are available such as[1] - Also formatting style needs improvement. Please look at other GAs/FAs for how to do this such as Urinary tract infection.

- This article incorporates material from the Citizendium article "Patient participation", which is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License but not under the GFDL.
