This article is part of a series of articles trying to provide additional information on several aspects of clinical development (trying to fill some gaps)

In Characteristics the article uses HRRQL as acronym for Health related quality of life, in the examples section HRQL is used which is also more familiar to me. Just a copied typo in the characteristics section? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.250.38.63 (talk) 10:54, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Adding a section for PROMS in Youth behavioural health

[edit]

Is it possible to add a section about PROMs in youth behavioural health? Patient-reported data is helping schools screen for mental health in youth and direct them to the counseling services they need. I would like to add a section about work being done by Seattle Children's Hospital alongside King County schools, if possible. I added this before, but it was removed due to conflict of interest (despite it not making any mention of any company). It is also validated by research: https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamanetworkopen/fullarticle/2733175.

I am hoping to add the following blurb:

PROMs in Youth behavioural health PROMs provide valuable insights that can have a critical impact on mental health care decisions for youth. Schools throughout King County, Washington have been using PROMs to gauge youth behavioral health with their new Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) program. Using the Check Yourself screening tool developed by Seattle Children’s Hospital, King County schools are able to measure, understand, and nurture individual students’ well-being by collecting information about lifestyle, behaviour, and social determinants of health. Check Yourself uses PROMs with data analytics to identify at-risk youth so that school staff in King County can direct at-risk students to the services they need.
