Another Public Domain Conflict
[edit]As Gaumont, Pathe also claims to have a massive film archive that they distribute under thier banner. From my research many of these films are public domain. Please refer to thier website [1]. Again, this was gone through with the other article American Mutoscope and Biograph Company, yet never questioned on this article. I invite editors to research this, and happy editing!

British Pathe
[edit]what is the relationship to British Pathe? and who owns what exactly? as the General trust article states this organisation is owned by them but there is no mention of that group as owners on this page, or of it being a british film studio at all? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.44.71.85 (talk) 21:41, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
- It looks like British Pathe[2] is part of Daily Mail and General Trust, and that it should be distinguished from Pathe UK[3], which seems part of Pathé.--Patrick (talk) 06:58, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
The meaning of "profit"
[edit]The article states "Although the company continued to make a profit (as noted above), it lost more money than it could bring in."
If an entity loses more money that it brings in, that is called a "loss" - not a "profit"! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.172.160.41 (talk) 09:56, 11 June 2014 (UTC)
