Samples

[edit]

There are in fact two samples from SpaceCamp. Tish: "It was unbelievable! Can you imagine, an extraterrestrial disc jockey. Like listening to radio waves from space." :-) --109.189.99.41 (talk) 01:42, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the line: "We had a dream last night." "We had the same dream." is from the Village of the Damned, not the Krays. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Takeheed (talkcontribs) 03:21, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The title

[edit]

I know for a fact that the title Patashnik is actually taken from the well-known mathematics book Concrete Mathematics, with Oren Patashnik as a co-writer. I know this from a personal email from Geir Jenssen (if I remember correctly; it could've been an interview as well, it's been so long ago). I think he said he found the book in a shop and thought it had a "silvery, 1960's Russian space program feel to it". I can try to dig up the email, but it might be long gone. If I do I'll put it up online and we could use it as a reference. --cslarsen (talk) 14:38, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
