Regio Patales

[edit]

Shhhnotsoloud, WP:DDD says do not include "multiple blue links". Does it mean do not include any links at all?

In any case, you can see the description is quite inadquate. "Ancient Patala" could be anywhere on the earth! -- Kautilya3 (talk) 11:58, 13 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Kautilya3: Hello, and thank you for your comment. The purpose of the entry on this disambiguation page is only to direct a reader to the article they're looking for. Regio Patalis exists as an article, but it is not easy to see how your description "in Sindh mentioned by Alexander's historians." is derived from that article. Conventionally a disambiguation page entry description, if required at all, derives from the article's lead. See MOS:DABENTRY: "Keep the description associated with a link to a minimum, just sufficient to allow the reader to find the correct link". Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 18:05, 13 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Good point. I fixed the lead of the article now to correspond the description here.
I actually passed by here while looking for the Patala of Sind, but the description of Regio Patalis made it appear to me as some place in Europe or Mediterranean. So the old description didn't serve its purpose. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 23:18, 13 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
