Regarding mugshots for each character

[edit]

Basically I've updated the bios for each major character in the manga, but being as unresourceful as I am, I have failed to locate sources for head shots for the characters besides the official Japanese web site for the manga itself, www.shonenmagazine.com. If anyone has image files from other sources that are not copyrighted, feel free to post them up.

yeah, if you check out the shonen maganzine pastel manga page(just randomly flipping through if u dont know english) you would find that there is a page that lists the volumes currently out in japan. so there are actually 14 volumes out, not 11 as stated by anime network so i changed to 14. though im not really computer literate so if you would add this url (http://www.shonenmagazine.com/php/comic.php?sakuhin_id=68) as the source, thanks

Regarding the start date of the manga

[edit]

Anime News Network is wrong and thus the data for Pastel's vintage is wrong. It did not start running in November of 2002. I know this because I was reading Pastel in the summer of 2002. I even have the issue of Shonen Magazine somwhere. I think I have the issue with either chapter 8 or 9 and I bought it in Kyoto sometime in July of 2002.

Is November 2007 perhaps not the start of the manga serialization in Shonen Magazine but the release date of the first tankobon or collected volume? If so, this should be clarified. - tekka

Spoilers

[edit]

There are spoilers in the character descriptions. Should something not be done about this? Does this warrent the use of wikipedia spoiler tags? Or would just a simple re-edit suffice? - tekka

Please refer to Wikipedia:Spoiler. This is an encyclopedia, and therefore plot details may appear in articles if they are relevant when discussing the subject. The important section to note is "It is not acceptable to delete information from an article because you think it spoils the plot". David Bailey (talk) 10:20, 18 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Manga pages?

[edit]

Anyone know why it went from 20 page format to 40 page format? Not saying it's bad, but I'm curious. (75.157.183.134 (talk) 10:05, 27 May 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Nvm found it. But why did it move? (75.157.183.134 (talk) 10:46, 27 May 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Manga volumes table

[edit]

The manga volumes table uses the {Graphic novel list} template, which has seen some minor changes recently, I have adjusted the table on this article to match current usage guidelines, specifically moving the volume titles into the Title attribute section, as well as adding OriginalTitle and TranslitTitle attributes (left empty for the moment). If anyone has Japanese tankōbon versions of Pastel, please can you check to see if the volumes were given titles, and if so, please add them to the table?

On those volumes where there was a long list of chapters (8+), I have spit the list into 2 columns in order to reduce the amount of space taken up on the page. Short chapter lists don't need to be split into columns.

The extras have been kept separate from the chapter lists, as in most cases they are completely unrelated to the Pastel story and as such do not progress the plot. However, I do believe they should be kept in the table as they are significant (a good example being the short stories Apricot Girl and A Bouquet for the Candy Girl), and deserve a mention here. Hinako

[edit]

I think Hinako should be placed in the major characters. She's much more important than people like Kiku — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.87.144.216 (talk) 15:53, 26 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
