Endemic?
[edit]That's beetle isn't endemic for East England (what is source of that info?). C. exiguus is widely distributed in Palearctic, from Germany through Iran and Siberia to Japan and China. Even if we're talking about nominotypical subspecies, it's recorded from many european countries.
