Trivia section

[edit]

Hi all, I have removed the following section as it's far too trivial information. If some disagrees, could they merge it into the main article? - Tbsdy lives (talk) 10:03, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Line C-1 of Cercanías system has a stop on the Paseo (an exit next to Terraza Recoletos and another one in front of the National Library). The tunnel used by this line (which links Chamartín with Atocha stations) is called "Túnel de la Risa" (Tunnel of Laughter)[1]. The nickname was born in 1933 when the Press satirized the project started by Minister Indalecio Prieto[2].
  • Bus lines 5, 14, 27, 45, 53 and 150 go along the boulevard.
