What actually is the deal with this, is it still going or what? The list only goes up to 2003. BillyH 01:38, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think that Party in the Park for the Prince's Trust ended in 2004?TamaraStaples (talk) 15:52, 9 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

96.4 FM The Wave & Swansea Sound for PITP & Stars in the Park

[edit]

The Wave did take Party in the Park and this is the article on that music event. So, why is it being removed all the time ? Neither Wave or Swansea Sound were part of GCap, but they did take on this event. If it wasn't for the cost, the stations would still be running PITP & SITP, regardless of what Capital FM did. Strikes me that an event with the same "brand identity", which took place at around the same time as the others, is relevant to the article - if only as a footnote to the bulleted list. IMO the key elements here are (1) clearly stating that Swansea's Party in the Park was 'different' (in not being GCap-sponsored) and (2) not giving it undue weight.Pondle (talk) 17:51, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Swansea one is not associated with the national event, which is what this article is about. Unless you can provide some evidence of a relation or of notability, it stays removed, as such responsiblity falls on the editor adding. Welshleprechaun (talk) 22:34, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It was already stated on this article that it coincided with the Red Dragon event, so therefore it shall have a right to stay on the article. Jonny7003 (talk) 15:46, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm removing the paragraph as it's giving undue weight to Swansea. In future, do not re-add disputed material until the matter is closed. It could lead to a block. Welshleprechaun (talk) 16:42, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have added much more detailed text related to all aspects of the event. Thanks for your views. Jonny7003 (talk) 16:57, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced

[edit]

The article has been much improved and I respect the efforts to add more material and widen its scope. However, it has no references at the moment so I'm adding a tag and noting it here in accordance with WP:DRIVEBY.Pondle (talk) 21:56, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I shall get references and start adding them, so bare with me. Jonny7003 (talk) 15:08, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
