I think this article should be renamed Communist Party of the Philippines (1930), and Communist Party of the Philippines should renamed Communist Party of the Philippines (1968). I think that would be a more fair and neutral approach to distinguish the two parties which have the same name. Charles Essie (talk) 23:21, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

That's really not needed. English is a frequently used language in the Philippines, and Philippine media only uses PKP-1930 for PKP-1930 and CPP for CPP. In this case the "1930" is not a in-wiki invention, it is the way the party calls itself. --Soman (talk) 12:16, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
