The result of the move request was: Moving to "Shooting of..." see the rationale I left on the Kendall Carroll RM. (non-admin closure) (t · c) buidhe 01:10, 4 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Parrish DennisonShooting of Parrish Dennison – This person is WP:NOTABLE enough for an article solely because of the shooting and, even if the article is expanded, the focus will remain on the circumstances around his death and the new name will better convey the actual contents. Similar fatal police shooting articles follow this proposed naming format, including in Albuquerque with the Shooting of Alfred Redwine and the Shooting of James Boyd. • Support per nomination. Standard form for English Wikipedia main title headers delineating fatal shootings of otherwise non-notable individuals. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 16:38, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Move to Killing of Parrish Dennison – Dennison was killed. The guns did not just go off accidentally. Whether the killing was justified, or not, is a matter for the courts. We do not need to decide that. A justified killing is still a killing. If it wasn't then the term justified killing would be an oxymoron. We just need to determine if he was killed or died from natural or accidental causes. Calling this article "Shooting of ..." is a euphemism. The fact that he was shot is not the most notable aspect of this subject. What is important is that he is dead and that he is death because of the action of another human who intended to kill him, perhaps with good cause. --- C&C (Coffeeandcrumbs) 18:22, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
There is a broader RM discussion you started here that would move the "Shooting of" articles to "Killing of" if there is such a consensus. I would favor renaming this article to either "Shooting of" or "Killing of" for now since there is a consensus that the current name does not describe the contents.
