Nancy Rowell has been the City Clerk of the City of Parker since August 2012. She was chosen from from a field of 29 applicants. On April 16, 2013 Bay County, Florida held municipal elections. Parker was one of the Cities in the County with seats up for election. Richard Musgrave ran against the incumbent Tonya Barrow and won the Mayor's seat. Two Council seats were unopposed and 4 candidates ran for the two seats. John Haney and Joseph Ken Jones won the seats over competitors James Morris and Carmen Shirely.
