Protozoan
[edit]I carefully did not insert original research, but instead used only referenced comments. My original research (not included in the article) Google search shows a 90:1 bias for the protozoan usage in the current literature (Google Scholar 2016), and a 100:1 bias in a general Google search. So I believe most non-technical readers of Wikipedia coming here will be coming from seeing it in the protozoan usage, thus my edits to emphasize that usage. - I appreciate that concern, but this page is about the fossil alga not about Paramecium and therefore it should focus on the alga. Given the comparatively huge amount of interest, it might make sense to have Paramecia redirect to Paramecium and then have a separate page, title "Paramecia (alga)" or something similar.
