Fair use rationale for Image:Ipc logo new.jpg

[edit]

Image:Ipc logo new.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Merging with Disabled sports? --Gunnex (talk) 10:29, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That makes no sense. It would be like merging Olympic sports to sports -- 76.65.131.160 (talk) 18:35, 27 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

As he is so good, is there any information on the Paralympics expanding to cover visually impaired archery? -- 76.65.131.160 (talk) 18:37, 27 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

US bias in the photos

[edit]

Four of the seven photos currently in the article feature people from the United States, please help to get a more balanced spread of representation. Roger (talk) 17:17, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You are correct, there are a few more images from the US athletes. You are, however, free to be bold and upload or use any free images you have on this subject.--JOJ Hutton 17:49, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Paralympic sports

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Paralympic sports's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "paralympic.org":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 14:18, 4 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
