There is some confusion between MB/s (uppercase B) meaning MBytes/s and Mb/s (lowercase b) meaning Mbits/s. Is the date rate 33/66/133 MBytes/s or Mbits/s ?  Stepho  talk  22:44, 28 May 2018 (UTC)

Bytes not bits. Corrected article and removed unnecessary ref Tom94022 (talk) 23:33, 28 May 2018 (UTC)
Ah, I see my mistake. The tables in Parallel ATA#Features introduced with each ATA revision and Parallel ATA#Speed of defined transfer modes aren't very clear that 8.3, 16.7, 33, 66, 100, 167 MB/s were the max for each generation and the top infobox skips several of them (33 and up being the ones in my fading memory of days gone by).  Stepho  talk  19:50, 29 May 2018 (UTC)
