this article seems to contradict itself, as the info box states it was founded in 1996 by WH Smith, and the main text body says it was founded in the 1970s and not by WH Smith, I cannot currently find any sources to confirm either. James50567 (talk) 02:42, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I used to shop at the Tottenham Court Road branch from 1991, so I think a previous editor has mixed up the foundation of the original Paperchase with the incorporation in 1996 following the sale of the company. Warren (talk) 18:25, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
