The "Cassava Bread" on Manuel María Paz's painting is most likely casabe (tapioca flatbread) or some variation of it, as Amerindians were not familiar with cheese. The equipment shown in the image is identical to modern-day Amerindian casabe-making equipment used troughout the Americas. Amoebaforever (talk) 15:22, 31 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
