Pan Pacific Airlines Logo and Aircraft Picture Edit

[edit]

Good day to anyone reading this!

I don't use Wikipedia often and I am fairly new to bringing up issues on talk pages but I just need to bring up an issue about this article. The edit recently made by a user by the name HueMan1 was inaccurate. They changed the logo and added a false picture of a Pan-Pacific Airlines aircraft and claim that this is their 2021 livery when in fact the airline has made no announcements that they intend to change the logo or livery. I would suggest reverting the edits and changing the picture so that they are accurate and not just speculations/falsifications. Their current livery and logo is the accurate one and they do not intend on changing it. If a source is needed, the page of the airline as stated in the article is accurate and the website can provide an accurate picture of the logo. (panpacificair.com) And also the Aviation community here in the Philippines is worried because this false information and pictures on the sites of Philippine-based airlines are becoming big problems and these are used to scam and deceive people here that's why I also think pages like this should be watched and restricted from edits. If the pictures could be changed to their accurate versions and vulnerable pages like this kept restricted, that would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Can somebody in Philippines confirm if this airline still operates? It's very strange that they have no aircraft (various sources say they have none active or 2 in storage). The Airline's own website suggests 5 A320s, but the schedules on the same website are only valid until 2020. The booking engine also appears not to be functioning on their website. Can confirm this airline is currently not operating. Although there aren't any official sources corroborating this, the information comes from the aviation community over here saying that the company is now defunct and will not be continuing operations. All planes in their former fleet have either been returned to lessors or were scrapped. The only information circulating are on messaging groups, from former employees of the airline, and aviation enthusiasts here. Will try to find a source to back it up, but seems that they went down quietly so aside from planespotter and some outdated and conflicting sources, there really isn't much talking about the airline's current state.
