Self-established awards
[edit]These seem to be quite controversial awards, basically self-published by an user through his own personal Wordpress blog (paaftj.wordpress.com). Except for few initial notes, such as press releases reprint in the mass media at its "launching" in 2012, no-one has ever heard or written about them since 2013. Probably because the awards are fake ,-) MiewEN (talk) 07:27, 22 August 2014 (UTC)
- Samwalton9, you just have made a point. The awards are "not notable", apart from other obvious circumstances, so they should be removed as observed by others too. It is more than clear at the first sight to any experienced editors that these are self-sourced "awards". Cheers. MiewEN (talk) 21:58, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
- Hmm. I just don't think its an outright obvious hoax. The award is mentioned here and there ([1] for example), so I think PROD and failing that AfD is the way to go. Sam Walton (talk) 22:12, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
