Palyeidodon obtusum

[edit]

This is a page about the Species, not the Genus. And should be moved back to Palyiedodon obtusum. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HmmmSimon (talkcontribs) 14:15, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@HmmmSimon: the reasons I moved are, 1) the genus is monotypic, so per WP:MONOTYPICFAUNA, 2) paleontology articles tend to get created at the genus level, unless there is significant info justifying a species level entry, which isn't the case here, even if the genus werent monotypic. That makes sense. Thanks for clarifying, I'll keep this in mind for the future. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HmmmSimon (talkcontribs) 20:01, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Scansorial?

[edit]

The section that talked about them being scansorial was deleted because the source was not reputable. But there are multiple sources saying that they were Scansorial. Can anyone link a reputable source stating this? or are both sources incorrect? The other source saying this is the source that this Article cites. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HmmmSimon (talkcontribs) 21:00, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information about the fossils and behaviors of Palyeidodon

[edit]

If anyone can find more information about the behaviors, diet, fossils, or discovery about this animal please add it to the article. This article is in need of more information and sources. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HmmmSimon (talkcontribs) 21:30, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
