I have deleted the original content on this page because it was sourced to the wrong cite. Therefore, to avoid plagiarism, I removed it. I have begun to re-write the article with better sources, which have been cited so far. It is a work in progress right now, but should be completed by December 18th. Peer Review

[edit]

Hi, Neuroscienceforlife. Overall the article looks great! The use of images was very helpful in understanding the material. I just have a few comments for you.

Receptors

[edit]

At the beginning of this section, you should restate the three receptors you are talking about to clarify the statement.

Pathway

[edit]

You use the word "afferent" at the beginning of the article without explaining it but explain it down here in this section. Maybe you should explain it up top in the introduction first.

"The pathway consists of three types of neurons; first, second, and third order neurons." A colon, not a semi-colon, should be used here.

Testing

[edit]

"The typical frequency used for the tuning fork is 128 Hz. [2]" Check throughout this section to make sure to remove the space before the citations. The citations should go immediately after the period without a space.

Disorders

[edit]

"There are only a finite amount" should be "There is only a finite amount" for subject/verb agreement.

Research

[edit]

You say "the scientist" as if it were referring to someone. Maybe you can either say who or just say in general "scientists"?

You can also remove the word "more" in the last sentence and say "other improved".

Biolprof comments

[edit]

Great job. So glad you could peer review for each other! One minor comment: Please remove links that request disambiguation. Those are not really articles. Biolprof (talk) 05:50, 21 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
