history

Palladam has a brief history ,it is the part of cheranadu in past.palladam is captured by mysore state while british start to conquer India.Eariler in 19 th century there were 10 taluks in coimbatore district they are coimbatore ,pollachi,palladam,dharapuram,erode,sathiyamangalam,kollegal,udumalaipettai,bhavani & karur,palladam one amoung them.At that time tirupur is a part of palladam taluk.Tirupur becomes independent taluk after madras presidency is changed to tamil nadu. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 223.235.215.6 (talk) 01:10, 26 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
