In English "Palatinate-Zweibrücken" is rarely used outside of Wikipedia because only the adjectival form, "Palatine" is normally combined with other words. The usual reference is to the "County Palatine of Zweibrücken", "Zweibrücken," or the "County Palatine" (although the last is used only in second reference that has mentioned Zweibrücken. "County Palatine" by itself refers, geographically, to "The Palatinate"). The confusion is understandable, arising from the fact that Pfalz may be used in German as both noun and adjective, the latter in geographical modifications such as "Pfalz-Zweibrücken", whereas in English "Palatinate" is used only to refer to the geographical entity in Germany, and not used in word combinations to refer to other geographical entitles. "Pfalz-Zweibrücken" is more correctly translated as Palatine Zweibrücken. Otherwise, English Wikipedia is improperly introducing a neologism into German history and geography. Currently the article is titled "Palatinate-Zweibrücken", the article begins "Palatine Zweibrücken" and the infobox is headed by "County Palatine of Zweibrücken". It's confusing to readers and should be amended. I agree that "Palatine Zweibrücken" is better than "Palatinate-Zweibrücken", which would only be correct if it were a division of the Palatinate.
