surge?
[edit]Okay, what is a surge waterfall? The word surge is not used in the article Waterfall. —Tamfang (talk) 04:57, 10 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Tamfang, it appears that the one of the sources I used for the article (the book; check the 3rd reference), alludes to it as a surge waterfall.
- While I too couldn't find any details about a "surge waterfall", it possibly could refer to waterfalls that routinely experience sudden surges of water.
- However, in general, in the context of waterfalls, a surge refers to a sudden rise in water levels or an increase in the water volume.[1][2] Also check Waterfall: Nature and Culture by Brian J Hudson, page 55.
