there could be found several informations who erected the palais first:
- Hugo Freiherr von Waldstätten 1770 and then sold the Palais to Arnstein 1794
- Arcduchess Marie Christine, Sister of Austrian Emperor Josephs II., Wife of Duc Albert von Sachsen-Teschen owned the palais first. After her death 1798 it was sold to Arnstein.
- I assume that the given information here is false.

There is a missunderstanding: Franz Wilhelm von Natorp erected a Palais in the Inner City, at the "Hoher Markt" 1796, which was taken over by Banker Arnstein. But I was talking about Palais Arnstein in the 15. District of Vienna, at this time out of the city, on the way to Palace Schönbrunn. So obviously there were two palais called Arnstein.
