could not work out how to upload or link to the logo image. i'll have another look later on but hopefully some kind soul may finish the job for me before then.

How do I credit myself - I submitted a file to packetstorm back in the year 2000.

I submitted a text file which is now archived on packetstorm. it was a small issue with kppp which I used at the time to connect via dialup to the internet (via PPP protocol)

The only copy of the text file i could find was at this url which seems to have it mirrored/copied:

I lay claim to being "rarez" who sent in the text file to packetstorm at (15 years of age at the time).

I have uploaded 2 screenshots I captured from my Pixel device with 2 screenshots of the webpage in question to Wikimedia Commons (the screenshots are of myself viewing URL: https://vulners.com/packetstorm/PACKETSTORM:10565 in Google Chrome app).

Well not really writing myself in, that would imply I'm selling something or promoting a brand.

Futhermore what conflict of interest do you personally have with relation to the EU and Wikipedia.org (as seen on your profile on Wikipedia).

I'm getting a feeling perhaps I'm talking to the wrong person by reading the above warning.

That's a self declared conflict of interest in relation to that article and is completely unrelated to the discussion we are having here.

Trying to write yourself in does not imply you're selling something or promoting a brand, just there is an obvious conflict of interest writing about oneself.

Anyway since Wikipedia is not a forum (WP:NOTFORUM) I assume you are opening this discussion to add content to the article. Why do you think the fact that you submitted a file to Packet Storm 25 years ago has encyclopedic significance? D1551D3N7 (talk) 01:00, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

if you were truly interested in this topic you would be aware the history of people associated with this website & similar activities do have people who like to collect the history of this "scene".

I feel your only interest here is reverting my work i have done in a best faith to add. Perhaps the Alpha Bay Wikipedia page needs protection from Vandals? you could go look and leave me alone.

I also notice you reverting edits I made on the Zero Day TV series which I'm not sure why you are removing that IMDb url as it is a valid link relevant to that wikipedia article.

i also notice you @D1551D3N7 are concerned about a page Hydra Market which was Darknet Market if the article is correct.

IMDB urls shouldn't be on disambiguation pages and if you read the edit message you would see why it was removed.
