[edit]the history book "The Story of Francis Day and Hunter" (John Abbott, London 1952) confirms the story of the song competition which this song won. It is recounted in chapter 7 Johncmullen1960 (talk) 07:44, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
Peanuts reference plus
[edit]While I think this is worthy of inclusion in the article, placing it in the lead section seems odd for some reason. Should this be moved into the main body of the article, possibly the "Literary References" section? Thoughts?
Also, I recall this song being used in an episode of Chickenman back in the 60's. While lounging in the reception area outside the Commisioner's office in the Midland City Hall, Chickenman sings the first two lines, in addition to other songs, until he is interrupted by an annoyed Miss Helfinger suggesting he might have some crime to fight elsewhere. I have no source other than my memory. I believe it was on the album of some of the episodes that was released on Atco back in the mid 60's.THX1136 (talk) 13:56, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
