Colours and appearance
[edit]I have made a proposal to change the colour of the map box, please see the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject U.S. regions --Qirex 05:37, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
Nevada? Arizona? Really???
[edit]The author of this article states that Nevada and Arizona are sometimes regarded as "Pacific States". I have never heard of that usage and it certainly doesn't go along with the Census Bureau designation, which includes Nevada and Arizona among the Mountain States. Discussants at the West Coast of the United States page have raised the same objection there. Under Wikipedia rules, it's not decided by what we think; it's decided by what external, verifiable supporting citations can be found. So I have inserted a "citation needed" flag on that claim. If an external source for this claim is not provided in a reasonable time I will delete the reference to Nevada and Arizona. I don't know what to do about the map, though! Any thoughts? --MelanieN (talk) 04:29, 30 August 2009 (UTC)MelanieN
I agree, they need to be removed. Jpcline004 (talk) 21:07, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
Those states have since been removed and the map has been replaced. —Mrwojo (talk) 21:53, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
