I am unclear about the tag on this page. all the citations on the page have public links and verifiable. the institution Seva-Bharati is an active organization with central govt projects and considerable contribution in the region - poor region of West Bengal. University College of Agriculture in Kolkata, India and Prof Sen as a founder of this academic institution is very well known and verifiable by anyone.

Prof Sen passed away at the age of 91 in 1997. He has many students all around the world who can provide more evidence and validity of this information. Prof Sen received Rathindranath Award - see [Rathindranath Award http://www.mssrf.org/awards_achievements/nataional_scientific_awards.htm] for Rathindranath Award recipient M.S.Swaminathan as a reference for the nature of this award.
