notability

I'm having difficulty seeing how this is notable enough to warrant its own article, how it passes Wikipedia:Notability. Is there a reason why it cant be merged into Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Is it particularly iconic?--RadioFan (talk) 13:36, 20 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
