Is the melody of ResuRection a Russian folk song or something like that? --195.148.191.82 18:10, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

of course, no. if you ever heard this melody you should know that it's cosmo-theme song.--195.158.27.66 06:13, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Actually it is exactly the same composition as written by Eduard Artemyev for the film "Sibiriada", with only slight changes. It has nothing in common neither with russian folk songs nor with ppk. It's the same plagiarism as with melody of Reload, in fact composed by Latvian musical group Zodiac in 1980. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.35.182.223 (talk) 22:46, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Ppk.jpg

[edit]

Image:Ppk.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Spelling - ResuRection or Resurrection

[edit]

Are "ResuRection" and "Resurrection" different songs, or are they inconsistent spellings of the same song title? (The former is mentioned in the intro and in the "Singles" section; the latter is mentioned in the section about albums.) 131.215.159.196 (talk) 23:16, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

does Resurrection contain the voice of Yuri Gagarin

[edit]

The tekst of the song:

  • Принято.
  • Земля-борт.
  • Принимаем вас.
  • Пуск. Бортовое питание.
  • Я Земля 3.
  • Есть Мир 3, протяжка.
  • Предварительная, промежуточная, главная - подъём!
  • Принимаем нормально.
  • 10 секунд - полёт нормальный.
  • Принимаем вас.
  • Немножечко растут перегрузки. Вибрации - как обычно

(see e.g. http://fmplaynew.ru/playing/ppk-resurrection_zaterjannie-v-kosmose-russkij-trans)

does not correspond to the dialogue of Yuri Gagarin and Sergei Korolev (only the italicized lines correspond)

does anyone know the true story? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mkleuskens (talkcontribs) 11:21, 20 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Download statistics for ResuRection

[edit]

The article says "which was available to download for free on mp3.com. A few million people[quantify] downloaded it", and a note asks for the number to be quantified. Unfortunately, the original mp3.com shut down long ago and took all its files and statistics with it, so it is probably impossible to answer that question. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mdulcey (talkcontribs) 05:34, 9 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
