What does this mean?

Part of this doesn't make much sense:

PC brought controversy with his opinions, especially when criticizing religions due to the fact that he is up to you, such as when making fun of a religious symbol...

What does the bolded phrase mean? Could that perhaps mean that PC Siqueira was very much "in-your-face", or something like that? Anyway, the phrase "due to the fact that" should definitely be avoided ("because" will do). Kelisi (talk) 06:38, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Kelisi: The original page in Portuguese said "due to the fact that he is an atheist". Changed. Skyshiftertalk 13:17, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
