P.V. Ramana a former professional volleyball player, present an employee of Indian Railways and the father of P.V. Sindhu(Ace shuttler and winner of a Silver medal at Rio Olympics 2016) has been a part of the news, controversies and unofficial declarations with minimal proofs and assumptions of his birthplace origins. However, neither him nor his family have declared it officially. Though there has been a tug of war between the governments of the recently separated telugu states(Telangana and Andhra Pradesh)stating that P.V Sindhu belongs to Telangana. Backing up this several arguments have been heard in the media that, as she was born and brought up in Hyderabad, she would be considered as Telangana Bidda(daughter). Rumours are that P.V. Ramana is from Nirmal,Adilabad and there are videos of his interview where he confirmed it which has no . On the other side, The arguments of P.V.Sindhu belonging to Andhra Pradesh by the media and social networking public posts saying she is an Andhra Ammayi(girl) as her ancestors belonged to west Godavari district and she won't belong to Telangana just because her father settled in Hyderabad for his sports and work career.
Amidst all these controversies and statements of public, media, politicians and editors, it is still not clear of which region P.V. Ramana belongs. The end to this confusion will wait until P.V.Ramana himself gives an official statement. In a trial to end this discussion Mrs. P.Vijaya mother of P.V.Sindhu, has given a statement to the public that everyone should cherish the moment of India receiving a medal instead of figthing over the origins of Sinddhu and her family. She also stated that Sindhu is an Indian first and the rest detail must be ignored for this particular topic.
