"Head" or "Chief" of department?

[edit]

The question has been raised for multiple characters of whether they are the "Head" of their department/area (Plastic Surgery, Traume Surgery, etc.) or the "Chief" of their department. Please see the centralized discussion started by TRLIJC19 (talk · contribs) at Talk:Grey's Anatomy#Attending Character Titles. —C.Fred (talk) 13:45, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Issues:

  • Lede: US → U.S.
  • Lede: TVGuide → TV Guide. Make italic and fix unspaced
  • Development: tells → told
  • Development: Again - Entertainment Weekly should be italic
  • Development: Hollywood Reporter → The Hollywood Reporter
  • Reception: critics → television critics
  • Reception: Again - TVGuide → TV Guide. Make italic and fix unspaced.
  • Reception: USA Today → USA Today. Make italic.
  • References: Specific → Footnotes
    •  Not done, they're not footnotes; they're specific references. FAs have done this before, and there is no requirement or standard saying that it must say "footnotes". TRLIJC19 (talk) 02:11, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • References: Ref. 19 - Entertainment Weekly should be italic
  • References: Ref. 22 - Hollywood Reporter to The Hollywood Reporter. Also, make italic, please.
  • References: Ref. 24 - Again. TVGuide → TV Guide. Make italic and fix unspaced
  • References: Ref. 26 - Again. Entertainment Weekly should be italic
  • References: Ref. 29 - Removed this reference. IMDb is not a good source for articles
  • External links: Add IMDb character link for it

Nice work. On hold. --TBrandley 01:32, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
