The dash in such Russian phrases is properly tranlated as a form of the verb "to be". KonstKaras (talk) 20:37, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose. While the dash is indeed properly translated as a form of the verb "to be", many English-language sources do not seem to have a problem with that ([1], [2], [3], [4]).—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 14:43, March 4, 2009 (UTC)
- I see no dashes on that pages. Maybe, it's better to move to Our Home Russia? KonstKaras (talk) 19:12, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
- The first one uses a dash, the other three do not. My point was that many English sources simply omit the dash without translating it as "is". Omitting the dash, however, changes the meaning somewhat, so I don't think it's a good idea to move the article to that title. That's just my opinion, of course.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 19:26, March 5, 2009 (UTC)

- Oppose, I think we should not interpret the name, but translate it, and I see no reason to "translate" a dash as "is". —Nightstallion 23:04, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
