Transition
[edit]The Article says "Spain, Bosch and Siemens pulled out" of the Desertec Project. Maybe the transition from Desertec to Noor should be described better. As far as a cursory websearch reveals, the construction of Noor seems to follow the original Desertec plans quite closely. It seems to me, that only the management, and maybe the global vision, was changed. I can quote sources to prove that the steam turbines for the Noor plants are being manufactured in Görlitz by Siemens. --BjKa (talk) 13:29, 19 July 2016 (UTC)
- Ivanpah Solar Power Facility steam turbines are from Siemens. Should that mean that it falls under the Desertec Project ? :-) --Robertiki (talk) 15:57, 27 June 2018 (UTC)
