To the Author(s)....

[edit]

Please note that it is not "Ottamthullal", rather "Ottan Thullal"...

Sheethangan Parayan Ottan

These are the three forms of Thullal....

Please make a reference and necessary corrections. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 180.149.48.179 (talk) 06:16, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Rename request

[edit]

Correct name of the article must be Ottan thullal. But it is not possible to move the page because there is already a redirect in that title. Admin action required for page move. Please rename this article to Ottan thullal. --Praveen:talk 07:46, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article uses a capital T for Thullal so I have moved it to the capitalised version. Hope this is okay? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 08:55, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thullal is used here as a colloquial term for dance. But it is okay :-)--Praveen:talk 11:59, 16 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Meaning of "besides"

[edit]

What does this mean?

"accompanied by a mridangam (a barrel-shaped double-headed drum) and/or the handy idakka besides a pair of ilathalam cymbals."

Does it mean "beside", as in "next to", or does it mean "in addition to"? Ikan Kekek (talk) 02:09, 25 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
