I was looking at this article, and noted the title is "Orissa famine of 1866" but the bold headline in the first line is "Odisha famine of 1866". I can see that Orissa and Odisha are two names for the same thing. However there should be some consistency. Therefore I am going to change the bold headline in the first line of the article to be consistent with the wikipedia page title. I will let people who are more knowledgable in the subject discuss whether the title should include Orissa or Odisha, and change the headline to the relevant decision for consistency? - Master Of Ninja (talk) 07:23, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
There has been much historical work done since 2016 (the 150th anniversary of the famine). Much of this is by Indian historians, some of whose work on Orissa is now part of the bibliographical list in the article. The article could be fleshed out with reference to this new research Xcia0069 (talk) 18:58, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
