Indian to Dravidian
[edit]Dravidian is more accurate. Not to sound blunt, but Indian is a generic term for this art. It is like saying Silat of the Malays is an Oriental martial art. After all, terms such as Indian, Oriental, and Burmese, for example, are all European coined terms for the areas in Asia they conquered. Otherwise, India can be referred to as a name of a country and a nationality. That is the problem with the vast histories, cultures, and languages in India today, they are slowly vanishing due to history revising. Sorry, but I had to say this.
