Mountains and Rivers passage
[edit]"Mountains and Rivers" is lacking attribution, though it is also from Dogen. However, I'd recommend using the translation of Robert Aitken Roshi from his collection and commentary on Dogen's poetry Moon in a Dewdrop. Jim Casy (talk) 15:59, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

[edit]What is this heading? Also something is missing after "Zen Buddhist Rogue depicts the original face as follows:" (unless it's meant to be a visual koan!) Gary Glass (talk) 16:10, 3 May 2020 (UTC)
Yeah, I noticed that too. I never edit wikipedia, but this seems weird. Maybe someone who knows about this more should take a look at this? I don't know how you would flag that down, but if someone reads this please let them know. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.214.95.125 (talk) 19:04, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
Suggestion
[edit]This article would be more helpful if it explained the meaning of anything that it was talking about. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.56.233.33 (talk) 16:44, 4 January 2022 (UTC)
Father and Mother
[edit]The article critiques the duality of father and mother without first introducing the famous koan: 'what was your original face before your parents were born?' This Koan seems like it should be in there, fairly early on in the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Timtak (talk • contribs) 11 feb 2025 (UTC)
