This article needs a discussion of the O&C RR lands, which were siezed & managed by the BLM due to the railroad's failure to obey its part of the arangement, & were managed from the 1920s on to benefit the school systems in numerous counties of Oregon. (Just another corporate scandal.) -- llywrch 23:36, 19 October 2005 (UTC)

Only about 25 miles more (not Natron to Oakridge - that was Oregon Eastern Railway, later CP) were built by the O&C; other branches were built or absorbed by the Southern Pacific Company.
