- That should be it; this was my first time reviewing an article on a brewery and it was fascinating! I have left some comments below and placed this article on hold for now. Please ping me once you have addressed my concerns so that I may know when to reevaluate. Thanks! 𓃦LunaEatsTuna (💬) 00:37, 16 January 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry for the wait; it took a while to look through all the major additions. I am very pleased with these changes and can now confidently pass this article for GA status. Congrats! 𓃦LunaEatsTuna (💬) 05:26, 16 January 2023 (UTC)

Prose
[edit]- This is not required, but given the amount of information in the article I reckon an infobox would benefit readers.
- "that opened in 2012." – probably personal taste but I would add the month here as well.
- "It takes its name from the ore docks in the city, used to load iron ore pellets onto lake freighters." – this is only mentioned in the lead, but it should be noted in the history section as well—the lead summarises key content of an article.
- "In 2021, the brewery received a $25,000 State of Michigan Match on Main Street grant." – I reckon this could be elaborated upon; did the state give a reason as to why it was granted/what is the grant given for?
- "popular beers were the "Reclamation" IPA" – wikilink IPA for unfamiliar readers.
- "IPA that "not as hop-forward […]" – replace with "IPA that is "not as hop-forward […]".
- "becoming the first Upper Peninsula brewery to offer the product." – wikilink Upper Peninsula.
- "214 S. Front St." – unabbreviate street. Does the S. stand for anything here too or is that its official designation?
- "with the intent to demolish and create" – change to "with the intent to demolish it and create".
- "It was recommended in The New York Times travel section in 2017," – wikilink The New York Times.
Refs
[edit]All sources are either RS or used appropriately. Spotcheck not passed—no concerns with refs 5, 8, 10, 14, 20 or 23, but:
- Ref 3 does not mention May 2012 as the opening date.
Other concerns:
- Some refs have retrieval dates whilst others do not. For consistency, I would give them all retrieval dates.
- Ref 1 is missing a page number.
- Refs 8 and 20 are missing publication dates.
- Ref 15 is a dead link.
Other
[edit]Short description, navs and cats good.
- Recommend adding template:Use X English.
- The coords should be shortened to just five digits after the decimal point; that is enough for buildings.
- Add WP:ALT text to the images.
- The external video appears to be a dead link.
- The last external link (from ABC 10) seems unnecessary.
Response
[edit]Hello LunaEatsTuna! Thanks for the review. I believe I've addressed all of your points, and those that need additional notes are addressed below:
- Broadly, I've added more information to the history section. I did a check for newer references before nominating this, but I missed an in-depth reported piece from the Huron Daily Tribune (it doesn't show up in Google News).
- I've removed the $25,000 mention. No source has specifics of what it was going to be used for, and in the grand scheme of things it's not particularly important.
- Noted.
- Re: what was ref 1, the online ebook does not have page numbers. I've added a chapter title instead, and the link goes directly to the correct page.
- I see; nice work!
- I've added alt text, though per WP:ALT two are just "refer to caption" as I don't believe any more info would be helpful.
- Fair enough.
- I've added an archive URL for the deadlink along with one other link that's gone dead. Unfortunately, a third link has no archived copy and it can't be easily replaced because it supports specific quotes. I've reached out to the publisher, although I don't have much hope that they have an archived copy hiding somewhere. WP:DEADLINK says we shouldn't just delete it, but I'd love your thoughts. - Seems like a minor inconvenience, but I would not want a single URL stopping this article from obtaining GA status.
