[edit]I think we should add something that says humans have very little control over this muscle, and that it shows our true emotions before we can edit them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.142.116.84 (talk) 02:10, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
Inconsistency
[edit]This isn't a contradiction per se, but there seems to be an inconsistency between orbicularis oculi muscle, which says (in the infobox) that the orbicularis oculi is innervated by 2 branches of the facial nerve (temporal and zygomatic), and the list of muscles of the human body which only mentions 1 branch (zygomatic).
Should the list of muscles page include the temporal branch? Or is the orbicularis oculi page wrong to include it? Hopefully someone can get this straightened out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.96.112.194 (talk) 10:34, 28 December 2010 (UTC)
This page is correct: the orbicularis oculi muscle is innervated by two branches of the facial nerve - the temporal and zygomatic branches. Look here for more information http://anatomy.med.umich.edu/nervous_system/eye_tables.html I've fixed the contradiction.Gmreed2 (talk) 15:09, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
