Can't we find a picture of the actual thing being described, instead of illustrating the article with a picture of something else? 130.179.29.61 (talk) 15:29, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Is it it?

Hi, it doesn't describe the technologies of the groups located, and many links are not working, and "aiims" is about what exact nechanism (the link is not very good)?

I've come looking for a revolutionary missing storage product, not covered in relevant category pages. It was a polymer digital paper storage tape, that used lasers to lunch holes in it. A sort of optical punch tape. It didnt last long, like most with the rising density of magnetic storage competition. But, magnetic storage is maxing out, and for reliability for long term archival storage compared to magnetic, solutons like this are relevant, to prick the minds of innovators and engineers reading this artcle to get an accurate idea of what's out there. Besides, it is the ultimate sort of punch tape. 159.196.184.30 (talk) 13:30, 20 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
