SyFy confirmed in both the episode and online clip that Charles broke his leg. Someone with a broken leg could not compete in the challenges in the series. Furthermore, he was not eligible to become protected, thus not eligible to become the Decider. To avoid an edit war the page will stay is with Charles still in the game, though should be changed to Charles officially being gone following tonight's episode if he does not return. -- Sethjohnson95 22 January 2014 12:14 EST
I updated it to say that he is injured, Syfy is still teasing the possibility of him coming back. After re-watching the episode Lauren said he had a cast up to his hip so he definitely wont be able to compete. I apologize if I came harsh or rude, you were right to add this information into the wiki. Crypticbutton (talk) 19:29, 22 January 2014 (UTC)Crypticbutton[reply]

Addition of purported last names

[edit]

The official Syfy site's bios include hometown, occupation and other information, and first names. They DO NOT include last names. We CANNOT make up or otherwise add alleged last names without footnoted, reliable-source citations, as a few on this list already have. Vandals have put fake last names on reality-show contestants in Wikipedia in the past. Other times, people who think they know the last name have put incorrect last names. This is why, when it comes to living persons, Wikipedia CANNOT contain unreferenced, uncited claims. Please see also the core policy of WP:VERIFY.

See The Bachelor (season 18), among other examples, for proper citing of last names when the official source does not give them. Please note we need to use journalistic, reliable-source publications and not blogs, fan sites, or mirror sites, including sites that lifted the information from this very page. --Tenebrae (talk) 20:10, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
