on radio 4 there is a gentleman saying that he has researched this and fleming had nothing to do with it.....the note was initialled F for "fleming" but this gentleman thinks the whole thing was frank birches idea from start to finish and the initial was his.

I suggest he reads Rankin's Ian Fleming's Commandos (Faber, 2011). Ericoides (talk) 13:48, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
