There's a lot of context and sources that can be pulled in from this article, as well as the Suruç_bombing that provide more context for this operation. I tried to do a bit of the former, but not the latter. Correspondingly, the listed forces/combatants list probably needs to be updated for what has happened in the last 6 years or so. Also, as an interesting sidenote, but I don't know whether it's relevant for this page or not: this operation appears to be a direct descendent of Operation Display Deterrence.
