Diversion spillway

Is there such a thing as a spillway that allows flow to a certain level and then over that level diverts that water and only allows the excess to continue downstream? It might be called a maximum or fixed diversion spillway. Lfstevens (talk) 07:27, 7 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
