Flintstones version?

[edit]

What lyrics were removed for the Flintstones version? - Keith D. Tyler (AMA) 17:48, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I listened carefully (on Youtube) -- one time, which is all my wife would allow. The first sentence's "a little girl should know" became "a little kid should know." But I did not discern any other difference from the words of the Cowboys' hit 45rpm, which my poor wife had already suffered. (It is on Youtube, also). Specifically: the Devil is still in the song. Three verses, three devils. Flintstone URL is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTZQn3CaavE&feature=related 69.107.14.248 (talk) 02:37, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

QUOTE The robots at Wikipedia claim that the Flintstones episode used a different lyric, but I can not prove it. These are the identical lyrics on my soundtrack CD, which started this exploration on a recent Saturday afternoon, and I find no other set of lyrics on the Internet -- the only resource I bother with anymore.
